Article Title: Genetic characterization of CCL3, CCL4 and CCL5 in leporid genera Oryctolagus, Sylvilagus and Lepus.
Abstract: The genetic diversity of C-C motif chemokine receptor 5 (CCR5) ligands CCL3, CCL4 and CCL5 in the leporid genera Oryctolagus, Sylvilagus and Lepus was studied. Our results demonstrate that the three CCR5 chemokine ligands are under strong purifying selection as a result of possible functional binding constraints.
